Kadeco has led the development and transformation of Ásbrú, a former military base, into a neighbourhood that suits both individuals and families. Ásbrú is located next to the fence of Keflavik Airport and is part of Reykjanesbær municipality. The area is in a particularly good position for rapid development of a sustainable residential neighbourhood and has great potential for densification and renewal. Ásbrú is home to a vibrant community that will be further strengthened by the development of new residential areas and infrastructure.

The K64 masterplan proposes to make full potential of the site location next to the airport and proximity to other parts of Reykjanesbær. The objective is to transform Ásbrú into distinctive clusters with higher density, better connectivity, more services and industry opportunities.
