Project Coordinator

Purpose

To support the Kadeco Team in delivering projects and programmes for the Keflavik Airport Area Strategic and Economic Development Masterplan.


Key Responsibilities

• Support the project team to successfully deliver projects and programmes.
• Support day-to-day communication between Kadeco, clients and stakeholders.
• Attend Kadeco team, client and stakeholder meetings, taking accurate meeting minutes or notes for circulation.
• Provide administrative support for the Kadeco team, ensuring all filing, data and archiving obligations are administered and maintained.
• Coordinate and organise team meetings, client and stakeholder engagements, and consultant appointments and events.

Skills and Experience

• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage own workload to meet deadlines.
• Experienced supporting small, agile project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Skilled at providing administrative support with strong technical skills including MS Office (Xcel, Word, Powerpoint, Teams) and SharePoint.
• Comfortable following up with colleagues to ensure agreed tasks are completed on time.
• Comfortable communicating with a broad range of stakeholders to support effective collaboration.
• Experience coordinating and organising meetings and events of varying size.
• Well-developed understanding of the Keflavik Airport Area’s unique characteristics or interest in developing this knowledge at pace.
• Positive, team-orientated, and growth-minded attitude; comfortable in an agile environment.  
• Fluent in Icelandic and English languages.
