Project Manager


To Manage and deliver projects and programmes for Kadeco and the Keflavik Airport Area Strategic and Economic Development Masterplan.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the successful delivery of projects and programmes as determined with Managing Director and project team.
• Provide day-to-day liaison and communication with clients and stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are properly scoped, planned, organised and resourced.
• Manage project teams and lead project meetings.
• Secure prompt information flow and data exchange between Kadeco, clients and stakeholders.
• Lead stakeholder engagements, documenting outcomes and next steps.
• Prepare and deliver project updates.
• Manage and mitigate project risk through effective issue identification and problem solving.
• Ensure project and programme outcomes are aligned with broader vision / mission / purpose

Skills and Experience

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experienced in managing and delivering projects from scoping through to full implementation.
• Experienced in managing complex stakeholder relationships, establishing a shared vision and objectives, and influencing effective collaboration across boundaries.
• Knowledge of planning processes and experience with planning related projects.
• Skilled at problem solving and comfortable with working collaboratively with a small, busy team.
• Well-developed understanding of the Keflavik Airport Area’s unique characteristics or interest in developing this knowledge at pace.
• Positive, team-orientated, and growth-minded attitude; comfortable in an agile environment.  
• Fluent in Icelandic and English languages.
