Kadeco’s presentations drew strong interest at the international real estate and development conference MIPIM, held in Cannes, France, from 9–13 March. This marked Kadeco’s fourth participation in the joint Icelandic pavilion organized by Business Iceland, alongside representatives from other Icelandic development companies.
MIPIM is one of the world’s largest and most influential events in real estate development, bringing together key players from across the global planning and construction sectors. Attendees include representatives from cities and municipalities, investors, financial institutions, construction firms, and service providers.
The conference serves as a major platform for project showcases, networking, and discussions on the future of urban development and infrastructure. At this year’s conference, Pálmi Freyr Randversson, Managing Director of Kadeco, presented the company’s key projects and development plans within the K64 masterplan. The presentation was delivered in collaboration with Business Iceland and Transport for the Capital Area (TfCA), and attracted considerable attention from attendees.
“There was a steady flow of visitors and clear interest in the K64 development plan. This is our fourth time participating in the Icelandic pavilion, and we are seeing growing interest both in the region as a whole and in the developments taking place there. International promotion is vital for advancing projects like K64. We believe this interest will continue to grow as visibility increases and more people recognize the diverse opportunities the area has to offer,” said Pálmi Freyr.
